On August 8th 2010, A bridegroom in Turkey has accidentally killed three relatives while firing an AK-47 in celebration at his own wedding, Turkish media reported. The groom lost control of the weapon as he tried to fire in the air at the ceremony. The guests were sprayed with bullets and the groom’s father and two aunts were killed. The groom has been arrested. In Turkey, firing into the air is commonplace as a celebration in parts of Turkey and has on many occasions led to deaths and injuries.

A rider aboard the Boston transit system spotted a man fondling himself. He snapped a photo of the man and posted it to his Twitter account. Transit police say the photo helped identify the man as a known offender and the man was arrested Friday and charged in the incident. “He felt that the way he was trying to leverage a police response … was to use Twitter, and in this case it worked quite successfully,” O’Connor (Head of police) said. 

Today a New Jersey man is serving time in jail for making himself vomit on a little girl at a Phillies baseball game friday. Matthew Clemmens pleaded guilty and was sent to prison for at least 30 days, was given two years probation, was ordered to serve 50 hours of community service, and pay $315 to the little girl family after the incident. 

On July 12, 2010 Einstein’s brain was discovered at the Museum of Natural History inside a room that says “Do Not Touch!” by three teenage students. 15 years old Daisy Lewis, Malika Adams and 16 years old Jessica Coleman was found at the scene. In Jessica and Daisy’s descriptions “Malika touched the brain and started acting smart by writing math problems on the blackboard just like Einstein would.” Guards caught the girls and called the cops and their mothers. Malika was taken to a nearby hospital where she is in perfect condition. The guards working that day have told the mothers of the three students “we are very sorry of what has happened that day.” No one knows what power Einstein’s brain holds but all they know is that it can be life changing for people.

Smh… If you robbed a store would you call the store to complain about the amount of money you took ?? Well one man did. On August 1st 2010 a man robbed a Wendy’s in Atlanta, a short while later Wendy’s got a call from the same man who robbed them complaining saying “next time there better be more than $586!” Like really ?! And then he calls back a second time with a similar complaint. Of course he was caught and is currently in jail.

Today in class we played a game called “Song Game.” We had to come up with a song thats funny about our topic which was Being in Jail. This was our song…

Today was one of our weekly meetings with The Moth. We told stories about when we was surprised and sad and mainly about anything. I enjoyed it alot because i could relate to the things people in my group was saying. I really want to ellaborate on a story to say out loud and stay with the program but then i dont because i have stage fright and i know i would be very scared.

Earlier today around 8:45am police say a man from Pittsburgh robbed a bank wearing a woman’s blond wig, fake breasts under a sweater and clown pants. Swissvale police say 48-year-old Dennis Hawkins of North Braddock was sitting in a parked car covered in red dye from an exploding packet in a bag of money when he was arrested Saturday. Police Chief Greg Geppert says Hawkins robbed the bank at gunpoint, using a toy BB gun he had shoplifted from a store. Geppert says Hawkins then entered a woman’s car. She got out, took her keys and called police. Hawkins was found sitting in the car. He is being held on $230,000 bail.
